About me
Tracey O’Hara (Uttampreet Kaur) –
My Personal Story Through dedication and determination, I recovered from a downward spiral that included addiction to alcohol, an eating disorder, caused by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that wraffed into what is call DID (Disassociation identity disorder) this is an extreme manifestation of PTSD. There is no medication or therapy that I have found to help is extreme disorder.
By practicing what I put into my teachings: The Ancient Technology of Kundalini Yoga, Sattva Yoga Shri Vidya. (all schools of Tantra= expanding the heart & mind)
While my personal recovery was reshaping my life, I became aware that I was destined to serve others in their quest for a better life. My life’s purpose, it seemed, was to help others recover from their emotional and physical stresses, plus their addictions. It is now my pleasure to aid others by utilizing the techniques that have evolved through both my formal training and my own methods, among them Yoga, Mantra, Meditation and Breath work.
Over the past decade, I have taught thousands of classes and private sessions in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and of late in West Palm Beach, Florida. I call my practice ReCoga® Yoga because of its ability to help all of us recover from the bumps in life that lead to sadness and depression, thereby eliminating the joy to which we are all entitled.

My formal Kundalini training began in Rishikesh, India, and I am constantly seeking new knowledge from Masters around the world. Additionally, I am certified in Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Sattva Yoga and Strategic Intervention Life Coaching, and Yoga for Addictions.
In my practice, I blend my Yoga expertise with Life Coaching, then add insights from my own personal experiences, as well as from the experiences of others. I have also transitioned to a plant-based diet and share my recipes with my students and clients. I respect the limitations imposed by my students' ages, as well as each one's physical and medical condition. I have taught children, teenagers and adults well into their eighties, often in the same class! Whether you can work on a mat or require a chair, our work together can uplift your spirit, mood, health, and passion for life. I am passionate about living life, and have seen the results of ReCoga Yoga®!
I truly believe in my heart that we all have all been given the gift of life, and that it can and should be lived with gratitude and joy. But to do so often requires facing – and walking through – what I call “tough stuff,” so as to transcend, evolve, and grow. I have personally experienced a time where I felt life was not worth living. Through the grace of God, I discovered a practice that helped me shift into a life filled with an abundance of joy, prosperity, creativity, and happiness. I am grateful that Yoga helped me make that shift, and thrilled that I have the ability to pass it on to others. I am also passionate about creating interesting and delicious healthy plant-based foods, including, believe it or not, both chocolates and cakes.
Additionally, I make all-natural soaps and skin care products, and design natural fiber clothing. But most of all, I am passionate about helping others heal themselves, so that they too can be happier and healthier as they continue their journey through life. Regardless of your age, level of physical ability or experience with yoga, I invite you to spend a few minutes viewing a bit of my approach to helping others on their path towards wellness by going to www.yogaonthepath.com for my Dvd's, as well as the Fundamentals tab on this site.
I look forward to sharing love and light with you as you we all grow deeper into LOVING our LIFE
With kindness and love!
